Warrah Farm at Dural was founded in 1965 by Karl and Hannelor Kaltenbach, as a service based on Rudolf Steiner Curative Education and Social Therapy, to enable individuals with intellectual disabilities to have the experience of growing vegetables and learning small scale Bio-Dynamic farming techniques.
More than four decades later, the Farm continues to assist people with disabilities by using the same methods that were established back in
1965.
Bio-Dynamic farming ensures the long-term sustainability and health of
the land. The farm is viewed as an organism, a self-contained entity which
integrates the crops and livestock, recycling of nutrients, maintenance of
soil, and the health and wellbeing of crops and animals.
Warrah Farm Shop

Why buy Organically and Bio-Dynamically grown
food?
Farmers who have organic certification grow food using natural fertilizers which feed both the plant and the soil, producing nutritional food and reducing soil
erosion.
On these farms, beneficial insects, which feed on pests, thrive in the absence of man-made chemicals.
By choosing to eat food grown in this way, you are investing in and protecting the future of your family and the fragile environment.
If you or one of your family suffer from preservative related food allergies, then you must visit the Warrah Farm shop.
