In-kind projects have a Big Impact
1. Brookfield Multiplex
In 2014, Brookfield Multiplex undertook a project to renovate bathrooms in Warrah's Group Homes to update them and bring them into line with disability requirements. This improved the lives of 50 residents.
In 2015, FDC took on a project to create a central teaching kitchen at Warrah Special School. It will enable students to develop valuable life skills.
The Warrah Society is classed as a benevolent charity. The Warrah Society has deductible gift recipient status (DGR) from the Australian Taxation Office. This means that all financial donations and gifts (as defined by the ATO) made to Warrah are eligible for a tax-deductible receipt.
