In the Hills District, northwest of Sydney Australia, Warrah Society provides services for children and adults with disabilities including a Special School, therapy programs, an ATLAS transition program, Day Services for adults including employment and training programs, a bio-dynamic farm and 12 residential houses.

The principles on which these services are based were developed by Dr. Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925), the Austrian born philosopher, artist, educator and spiritual researcher.

Central to Warrah's philosophy is the adherence to the ideals of mutual respect and service, sensitive and responsive to the changing needs of body, soul and spirit.

Individualised services are provided for children and adults with disabilities, based on the principles of Curative Education and Social Therapy. Programs are developed in consultation with the clients, their families, special educators, medical professionals, various therapists, house co-ordinators and other specialist staff.

"Warrah" derives its name from an Aboriginal word meaning "it's raining". Rain is an essential element for growth. The image of the rain-cycle is one of change and transformation.
