Warrah School aims to offer a high quality, individualised education for students with intellectual
disabilities, based on the educational philosophy of Rudolf Steiner, and
in accord with the Disability Services Act (1986).
The goal of the School is to provide a
quality of education and environment to encourage each student to rise to
the best of his or her abilities.
Warrah believes that each individual has
the right to receive a full, balanced, holistic education and should not
be deprived, due to developmental or intellectual impairments, of
receiving a full range of curriculum subjects.
Every Warrah student should be helped to acquire knowledge, appreciation, and skills in the arts and humanities, science, history and world culture.
Every student should be individually educated in life skills to promote independence and self esteem.
