Discovery was born from a need for young adults with disabilities to continue their education, maximise their social, community and life skills and become as independent as possible.

A tailored program is developed to support each young adult with their transition from school into adult life by:

  • Continuing education such as literacy, numeracy, IT and research skills
  • Life & social skill development such as utilising public transport, cooking, safety in the community and relationships
  • Participation in and contribution to the local community such as work experience or volunteering
  • Developing a strong sense of identity through decision making, developing interests and taking on responsibilities
  • Activities are developed to serve the goals of individuals accessing the program.
